In addition to film and television, C.P. completed his 8th year in 2012 in the hit off-Broadway play, the “Awesome 80’s Prom”, and wittingly charmed the audiences of The Theatre at Madison Square Garden for four consecutive seasons of “A Christmas Carol” and two consecutive seasons of “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”. C.P. performed in a leading role in the “Jackie Wilson Story“ in London, England’s West End and received the U.N. “Medal of Peace” award for his support and performances at the United Nations in New York. Just recently, C.P.’s work was honored in a display at The Smithsonian National Museum of American History, alongside the world renown Tony Bennett and Elvis Costello.
Having completed a tour of “The CP Lacey Show” in Australia and Japan, with plans to expand and resume his one-man show in the United States even further, Lacey’s reach continues to expand concert halls, theater and television. See C.P. Lacey perform LIVE each week at The Apollo Theater’s Amateur Night show in Harlem, New York, and when he returns to its televised version, “Apollo Live” on BET Centric later in 2012, with Executive Producers Jamie Foxx, Marcus King and Don Weiner. “When I hit the stage, I intend to BRING IT!! It’s just what I’m called to do…” shares Lacey.
